History
Shilling Entertainment was first established back in the early stages of 2000 by two fellow high school students, graduates, and close friends, Luke Launer and Scott Hadzig, all in the hopes and efforts of trying to create original and unique pieces of work for the rest of the world to see, works that appeal to a wide range of general audience.
It all started back in early primary school and then continued all the way up into high school. This is where they got really serious about the business. First, they both sat down and created the official company name, and then they went on to create and design the official Shilling Entertainment logo, which has since then been renewed several times in its life.
Evolution and Expansion
They also got into doing their very own merchandise, including t-shirt design, and then also went on to shoot their very own short films on the weekends. After many years of hard work and after much thought and consideration, the co-founder Scott Hadzig decided that it was in the best interest to leave the company in the hands of Luke to go on and pursue other things in life while leaving Luke in charge to defend the name and keep on building its foundations stronger than ever.
After that, Luke decided to register the business name online as an Official Australian Registered Business and then teamed up with another close childhood friend, Josh McCallum, a website designer who has since left as well.
The future gameplan and goals for Shilling Entertainment is to become a fully working operational film Production company that specialises in post-production and editing services.
All of our current and latest film works will be sent off to many different various leading film festivals right across the globe, all in the hopes and efforts of seeking out major distribution deals.
At the moment, Shilling has been building up their foundations by trying to make all things official. Shilling is always on the lookout for opening and expanding the business later on down the track.
